Bless the Backpack Sunday, Sept 12 Calvary will welcome the families from SNUSchool for Children for a back-to-school celebration. The children will be performing a song together. This will be a special time to celebrate all our children and pray for them as they begin a new school year. Children attending are encouraged to wear their backpacks to church that day. There will be an all church potluck lunch following the a.m. service. Please sign up to bring a salad, side dish, or dessert. Sign up sheets are available at the communication center and in your Sunday School class.

Naz Night at Six Flags over Texas The weekend of your dreams has come, parent's and teens alike. September 3rd, at 5 p.m. all youth parents are invited to drop off teenagers at the church with a full belly and plenty of angst and leave them in the capable hands of our new youth pastors. The catch you ask? You'll have to pay $35.00 to the youth department for their amusement park ticket and gas, as well as enough cash to feed them for a day (breakfast, lunch & dinner)...Oh, and you have to pick them up the next night by 10 p.m. If you wish to be a part of this weekend of freedom, for parents and teens alike, then let Andy know by August 18th, this coming Wednesday night, money will be due by Wednesday September the 1st.

Southwest Oklahoma District Work & Witness Trip Join Dr. and Mrs. Jim Cooper on a Work & Witness adventure to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil June 12-24, 2011. Cost: approximately $1,700 plus travel documents. What we will do: Construction of Sunday school rooms, sports court in Esqueleto, and door to door ministry.
