Today’s children face many societal influences that draw them away from God and His love. To counterract these, boys and girls need a variety of nurturing experiences provided by caring adults at church. Children’s spiritual needs include regular Bible study that focuses on life application, worship, Christian fellowship, and evangelism. They need these experiences on Sunday, through the week, and during the summer. Children’s Ministries exists to resource, train, and support districts and local churches as they minister to children.
Weekly Activities
Praise & Play AND Kids Worship
Each Sunday at 10:20 am, 4 year olds through Kindergarten can join in Praise & Play. Children in grades 1 thru 5 may participate in Kids Worship. It's a time of worship and fun designed for our younger attendees. For more information, see Mary Hibbert or Vonya Shreffler.
Children’s Quizzing
Hey Calvary Quizzers! Don't forget about our party coming up on August 7th from 1-5 @ Andy Alligators. Please RSVP soon if you haven't already! Our quizzing practices will begin August 15 at 6:00pm. We're studying 1 & 2 Samuel. If you have any questions about children's quizzing, please contact Joseph Ellis.
Sunday Night Worship
Throughout the summer, Calvary Kids are encouraged to attend the Sunday night services with their family. Sunday night quizzing will resume in the fall. We hope that this time will be a special time for the family to come together for worship.
